As a global company, we see it as our responsibility to help make the world a better place for generations to come. Innovative and forward-thinking practices will help us towards a bright global future. That’s why we are constantly improving our ways of working to optimise resource efficiency and minimise waste. This is a collaborative effort with our customers, suppliers and the entire value chain.

Reducing our environmental footprint

We are actively working to reduce power consumption, improve efficiency and lower associated emissions across our production facilities. Our headquarters in Austria runs on 100% renewable energy, with 30% of our electricity generated by our own photovoltaic facility. We continuously invest in new machines that are carefully selected with energy performance in mind and contribute to a measurable reduction in electricity consumption and associated emissions. Many of our machines also operate with more environmentally considerate ink systems, including water-based inks and advanced LED-UV inks designed to minimise environmental impact.

Sustainability, built into the way we work

To show our commitment to being an environmentally responsible partner, we are certified to the FSC® Chain of Custody (COC) standard (FSC-C112145) at our headquarters in Austria and make this a standard requirement for all our relevant supply partners. Upholding the highest standards for the conservation of timber resources reflects the importance we place on minimising any negative impact on the world around us. We also hold an ISO 14001:2015 environmental management systems certificate, working continuously under this global standard to enhance our environmental performance.

Less waste in every project

Whenever the opportunity presents itself, we reduce the waste we produce. This includes expanding our range of more responsible material options, such as recycled and recyclable substrates, PVC-free alternatives and FSC® certified materials, as well as improving the way our products are packed and shipped. Our automated packaging system scans each product and creates made-to-measure packaging, reducing excess material and unnecessary void-fill. We also operate a zero-to-landfill waste policy, with 100% of our raw material waste separated and recycled by specialised recycling partners.

Responsibility beyond production

For us, sustainability also means taking responsibility beyond our own operations. Alongside our sustainability investments, we support local, national and international social initiatives, including our collaboration with UNICEF Austria, the Cancer Research Centre at the MedUni Vienna, Ronald McDonald Charity and local schools, to name just a few. On a more local scale, we have transformed green spaces around our facilities into wildflower fields, creating natural habitats that support bees and other pollinators, adding a small but meaningful contribution to regional biodiversity.
